Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins has announced her intention to continue to serve as the Scott County auditor, and will be on the ballot in the Nov. 5, 2024, election, a news release says.

Tompkins was sworn in as Scott County Auditor on June 1, 2021, and elected in November of 2022.
Tompkins has successfully run nine elections, with four county-wide since holding office. Previously, she served three terms on the Davenport City Council, where she was chair of finance and served as mayor pro tem.
In addition, Tompkins has more than 20 years of management experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.
“I am honored to be asked to serve our community, and grateful to be elected in this role. I have made numerous improvements throughout the office to increase efficiency, but there are still tasks and projects I would like to complete,” she said. in the release “Therefore, I am hopeful to continue in this role and ask for your support.”
Kerri, along with her husband, Andrew, live in Davenport with their son, Gage.
