But after codes were leaked ahead of the release of presale tickets on Wednesday, fans were left scrambling for a spot at the coveted concert.

It appears fans were having all sorts of issues - from being placed in 'queue after queue', to 'website crashes'.

Taking to social media, one fan wrote: 'S*** like this makes a mockery of registering for presale while pre-ordering the record and allows touts to do business early. Why weren't those registering for presale given unique single use codes??'
'So not just me that missed out on presale tickets due to a s*** system that kicked me out and told me I had to wait till Friday', another said.
A third added: 'Shoutout to @gigsandtours for the most useless / non-existent queing system of them all'.
A fourth said: 'Absolutely gutted. These were more than just tickets to me!!! I did everything right and your system let me down!'
Another, who managed to bag tickets, still had words to complain: 'Got my tickets. The whole ticket buying scene is abysmal.'
The band's confirmation of a UK tour comes after an electric performance at Glastonbury 2023, where they surprised fans with a secret set, having been billed under the pseudonym of 'The Churnups'.
But the Foo Fighters sent crowds wild when they made a surprise appearance at Glastonbury Festival on Friday, returning for the first time since Taylor Hawkins' death.
The rock n' roll icons shocked festivalgoers when they walked out on The Pyramid stage for an impressive hour-long setlist, leading Friday's star-studded performers.
The band last played Glastonbury six years ago, and it was their first time back at the festival since the tragic death of their drummer Taylor Hawkins last year.
Lead singer Dave paid tribute to his late friend and bandmate as he dedicated their final song Everlong to him in an emotional moment.
Taylor was found dead last year in his luxury hotel room from a 'cardiovascular collapse' induced by a drug binge while the band were touring in Colombia.
The band's surprise appearance on the third day of Glastonbury comes after weeks of speculation about who would play the 'secret' slot, which was held under the mystery alias The Churnups.
Fans previously believed the alias referred to Britpop band Pulp, but the Daily Mail then confirmed it would be The Foo Fighters making the surprise appearance.
The Glastonbury crowds went completely wild when singer Dave strutted out on stage with his guitar in hand and kicked off the show.
Both festivalgoers and viewers at home took to Twitter to share their shock over The Foo Fighter's surprise appearance, with some admitting they 'screamed' when they came on.
One fan gushed: 'Actually screamed when Foo Fighters came on! Wahhhhh.'

Grohl and co. were due to play in the UK as part of their 2022 world tour, which was cut short after the tragic passing of the band's drummer at the time, Taylor Hawkins.
Their last performance prior to his death was on 20 March 2022 at Lollapalooza Argentina.
Josh Freese, who has been a member of Devo since 1996 and the Vandals since 1989, became the group's new drummer in May 2023.
He has also toured with the Offspring, Guns N’ Roses, Danny Elfman, Weezer, Sting, Paramore, Nine Inch Nails and 100 Gecs.
A statement released across the rock group's social media channels read: 'It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins.
'We're sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won't be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let's take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we've made together.'
