Owner Fears Dog Has 'One Way Ticket' to Hell After Catching Them Red-Handed

When this woman decorated her home for the holidays, her dog was more than happy with the festive décor, as the Great Pyrenees mix thought the wooden nativity was her new chew toy.

In a hilarious viral video, TikTok user @ghostgirlmeetsworld shared the moment she discovered that the wooden baby Jesus was missing from the nativity set. It didn't take long to notice the guilty expression on the 2-year-old dog's face, as Annie continued biting into the little figurine.

Thankfully @ghostgirlmeetsworld was able to get the baby Jesus out of Annie's mouth, and while it did have a few teeth marks, it was otherwise unharmed. The owner may not have been best pleased about Annie's latest antics, but social media users on the other hand were highly amused. Since the video was posted, it has already been viewed more than 2.3 million times and received over 354,200 likes on TikTok.

Christmas decorations can undoubtedly brighten up a home and provide plenty of festive cheer, but it is vital that owners keep their pets away from any potential hazards. According to Purina, the fairy lights on a Christmas tree are one of the most dangerous elements for dogs because they may chew the wires or get tangled within them.

As for the décor, owners are encouraged to avoid tinsel as Purina suggests it can cause a blockage in a dog's stomach if they chew it. Likewise, glass baubles can be very harmful if the dog decides to use it as toy and smashes it. Non-toxic plastic decorations are the best way to go in order to reduce any damage or temptations.

Upon realizing that Annie was chewing the wooden Jesus figurine from the nativity, @ghostgirlmeetsworld was certainly horrified but also managed to crack a few jokes out of the situation. In her shock, she warned the dog that "this is like a one-way ticket downstairs," before repeatedly telling Annie that "this is a no."

Annie may have looked very guilty after she was caught misbehaving, but TikTok users have loved her brazen decision to steal from the nativity scene. Since the video went viral, it has amassed more than 2,700 comments in a matter of days, as many social media users defended her choice of chew toy.

One comment reads: "You cannot blame her if your baby Jesus looked like a chicken nugget."

Another TikTok user responded: "the way she spits it out to show you before chewing it again."

While one person wrote: "Testing the limits of all dogs go to heaven lol."
